Mr. Eric Berkowitz, President of Princeton Travelers and Director of the U.S. office, has spent significant time working and living in China. He has led numerous travel groups throughout Russia and Asia and has more than twelve years of experience in international business. Prior to Princeton Travelers, he was Director of the China office at Tractus-Asia, where he assisted foreign companies making investment decisions and setting up operations in Asia. As a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), he provided financial management services to Global 1000 companies. Mr. Berkowitz also worked in the new product development group at Cummins Engine Company, where he assessed the feasibility of expanding their product line in Russia. He received a BS in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton University and a MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from The Wharton School.
Mr. Jeffrey Hu, Director of the China office, is in charge of planning and managing all the local travel arrangements for our programs. He is fluent in both Mandarin & English and has seven years of experience organizing educational and business programs for universities and multinationals. Mr. Hu has also worked as a sales manager for Kodak, with responsibility for the entire Beijing market and has extensive experience sourcing products for foreign firms in China. He graduated from the Capital Economic and Trade University in Beijing with a degree in international business.
Ms. Consuelo Serrano, Director of the European Union office, has more than 10 years of international business experience. Prior to Princeton Travelers, she worked at IVEX (Spanish Commercial Office), helping Spanish companies develop market entry strategies and source/sell their products throughout China. Additional professional experience includes working in the investment banking departments of multinational banks such as State Street Bank, JP Morgan Chase Bank and consulting projects for the World Bank, European Commission, Pace University World Trade Institute, and the Spanish Mission to the United Nations. Ms. Serrano has a Bachelor¡¯s Degree in Economics from Valencia University in Spain and a Masters Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York. Ms. Serrano is fluent in Spanish, English and German.
